17 year old Shingo Serizawa lived in Tokyo. When his mother died, he quit high school, decided to become independent, and left his step-father's home. Howver, his step-brother Kishou Serizawa, 15 years his senior, returns from Europe and brings Shingo back.
For the first time, he learns that Kisho had been working overseas as a Hotel Concierge. Seeing how marvelous this job is, he decides he also wants to be a concierge. But being a high school dropout, he does not have the qualifications to work at a hotel much less learn to be a concierge.

As Shingo loses confidence in himself, he meets Ken Mukai, who is three years older and somewhat of a punk, who is 3 years his elder.
Unlike his step-brother who simply scolds him, Ken holds him gently as he teaches him many things.

In addition to Kishou, there are many adults around Shingo with a distinct personality such as Kisho's friend Takatsuki and Ken's friend Ebata.
Shingo studies and learns from them, and also learns about love between people of the same sex....
This is a story about Shingo's growth as he works at a hotel, not only about matters of love but also on the attitude toward work.

The main character, Kikyo is a high school student who is full of energy and known to be cuter than most girls. He wants a more equal relationship with his boyfriend, Takuya who is six years older, but he always treats Kikyo like a child.

Kikyo's friend, Shinobu is surprised by his outrageous actions but comes to understand and later admire him. Kikyo's cousins, Kazuki and Futaba both have strong personalities, but Shinobu grows to like them both.
The story takes place out of schoool at places like Kazuki's club 『Yellow Popule』 in Roppongi, Tokyo. It is a slightly different story from the usual school drama, and is a record of love and maturation.
